Every project is a little different. These answers cover the questions we hear most often.
01How long does printing take?+
Timing depends on quantity, production method and finishing. Simple digital work may be available the same day. More complex work involving die cutting, foiling, binding or specialty stock can take up to a week or longer.
02Should my project be printed digitally or offset?+
Digital printing is ideal for shorter runs, quick turnarounds and variable information. Offset printing is often more economical for larger quantities and offers excellent colour control. We will recommend the right method for your job.
03Can Acorn help with design?+
Yes. Bring us a complete print-ready file, a rough layout or simply an idea. Our in-house design team can help prepare artwork, refine the piece and make sure it is ready for production.
04What files should I send?+
A print-ready PDF is usually best. Include bleed where artwork runs to the edge, use high-resolution images and convert or package fonts. If you are uncertain, send what you have and we will review it.
05Do you offer foil stamping and business card edge painting?+
Yes. Foil stamping can be used on business cards, letterhead, invitations, thank-you notes and other premium pieces. Colour edge painting is available for thick business cards and creates a strong accent around the card.
06Can you handle mailing and large-format work?+
Yes. Ask us about addressed and unaddressed admail, banners, posters, yard signs, decals, trade-show displays, blueprints and printing on coroplast, foamcore, Sintra and vinyl.
